John got his start building websites for a little extra cash while serving in the Army. After being discharged, John took a position as Director of Operations at Superpages.com. This was a great segue into the world of business marketing. Right before the collapse of the Yellow Pages, he went on to build a call center and support for RV GlobalSoft in Thailand. Upon his return to the U.S., he co-founded Status26 and Rise Local with his business partner Mike Stewart.
John got his Associate’s Degree from the City College of Chicago before getting his Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Finally, he got his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
